I’ve had the pleasure of photographing this wonderful family for many years. From the newborn stage, toddler stage, and totally having a blast stage– it’s so much fun to see and photograph kids as they grow through life. I headed just outside of Denver to pay a visit to my old friends and get some updated lifestyle photos for the family. With no set agenda, I just make myself at home and have fun with the children and what comes out is them just being themselves. It allows for fun, creative, spontaneous pictures. Ones that parents and even the kids, when they get older, will really cherish for a lifetime. We got some fantastic portraits, but we also just documented having fun, creating art, jumping around on the bed, and playing out in the beautiful Fall of Colorado. If you haven’t had this kind of lifestyle photography session or if it’s just been a while–as you know, time flies–so schedule a session now!

A few months ago I was delighted to receive an email from a wonderful family I had photographed last year. The big news- they were expecting another child into their family due just before Easter! We arranged to do newborn photos once their little gift arrived. Little Luke arrived a little early, but was in great health, and as I found out– as cute as could be! I have photography studio in Denver, but can also bring a portable studio around Colorado, no matter where a family needs me to go. And that’s just what I did, so we were able to photograph in the comfort of their own living room. Right after having a baby, it’s nice to be able to nest at home and so it’s nice when photographers are able to help maintain those comforts for their families. I also brought along with me a wonderful handcrafted hat made lovingly by The Little Stitch They are a wonderful company that I highly recommend that makes a big variety of hats and accessories that can be ordered online and in different styles and colors for children ages 0-2yrs. Please enjoy some of the photos we got with Luke, along with a brief appearance made by wonderful big brother, Noah!

For some fun outdoor family photos in Denver I went to the park to meet Shannon, Steve, and Sawyer. It was a beautiful early Fall day before the cold snap that put an end to any chance of Colorado’s typically colorful Autumn leaves. We all had a great time on the playground, throwing a baseball and a football, and doing Sawyer and his Dad’s favorite thing to do together– fishing! What a wonderful family. I really had an enjoyable time with the three of them and getting the chance to photograph them and provide them with family portraits they can cherish for the rest of their lives. Christmas is a great time for a family to gather and spend quality time together. The Sniders collected in Denver (near Centennial) from various parts of the country for the holidays. They asked me to come to their home that was beautifully decorated to photograph the family and children. I did newborn photos of their youngest child when he was just 8 days old about 11 months earlier in my studio. It was a pleasure to see how he had grown as he approached being a toddler. We did a variety of different family groupings, but some of my favorite photos were of the little one playing with his model trains beneath the christmas tree. I also loved him in his other outfit of a flat cap and knit plaid sweater vest. A very handsome look on a little tike like him.
