I was lucky enough to have Fuji send me an early release (about 1 month before the official U.S. release) of their new flagship camera– the much anticipated Fuji X100s. I received it today at my home in Denver, Colorado and just did a little shooting around the house for starters. Tomorrow will be my real first outing with the camera, as I’ll venture around Denver and see what I can see. Be sure to check back to see photos from that. And also be sure to check back about a week after that, as I will be taking the new X100S and shooting with it, and only it, at a wedding next weekend.
I will tell you that I
have had a love affair with the original X100 (see one of my favorite collections of mine from the X100) and can tell you that I love the new X100S even more. Be sure to check periodically, as I will be updating my thoughts about the specific pros and cons of the X100S here for all the geeks out there. And for now, enjoy these photos from today (all shot as jpeg, ranging from ISO 200 to 3200, and everything in between):
